"wunderbar ruhig - Perfekter Ausgangspunkt für die Besichtigung von Maramures. Campinplatz idyllisch und extrem ruhig. Sehr freundliche Besitzer, sehr sauber, allerdings nur ein WC für Männer, wenn voll besetzt, etwas wenig. Straße ist etwa 1,5 km unbefestigt, grober Schotter, die letzten 300m mittelmäßig steil und nur etwa 2,8 m breit. Hatten mit 5,5m Wohnwagen überhaupt kein Problem, auch waren 7m Wohnmobile da. Wer fahren kann, kommt auch hin. Alexander

"Ein äußerst empfehlenswerter Platz in extrem ruhiger und idyllischer Lage - Ein sehr empfehlenswerter, idyllisch und extrem ruhig gelegener Platz in herrlicher Lage mit schönem Ausblick. Das holländischen jungen Betreiberpaar sind sehr nett und hilfsbereit und sprechen englisch. Der Platz ist sehr liebevoll angelegt z. B. mehrere Sitzmöglichkeiten mit Sonnenschirme und Hängematten. Der in der Nähe gelegende kleine Bauernhof bietet auf rechtzeitiger Anmeldung ein sehr gutes Essen an. Wir waren zu einen Abendessen dort, für einen kleinen Preis gibt es Schnaps, Wasser, Vorspeisenplatte, Suppe, Hauptgericht und Nachspeise, man wird mehr als satt. Der Zufahrtsweg zum Campingplatz ist auf den letzten ca. 900 Metern wirklich eng und hat einen ziemlich groben Schotter als Untergrund, größere Fahrzeuge und Gespanne werde dort Ihre Probleme haben. Man sollte der Anfahrtbeschreibung und den Hinweisen des Campingplatzbetreibers Glauben schenken. Hat man das Ziel erreicht, zeigt sich ein Naturparadies und die totale Ruhe und Entspannung ergibt sich dann von selbst. Der Platz ist auch für Sternefotografie aehr gut geeignet, geringe Lichtverschmutzung. Wir werden sicher wiederkommen.

"Very near to Heaven 😁 - After a very adventurous arriving through very closely streets we will be welcome in this nice CP place....The owners are very friendly, the landscape is breathtaking 😃 You can be very near to nature .....it is so quiet 😃

"Campingplatz zum Entspannen - Super schöner Campingplatz mit netten Personal (holländischer Besitzer), welches super englisch spricht und hilfsbereit ist :) Auch mit den Hund ideal geeignet! Hängematten zum entspannen, Küche zum benutzen (auch für Zelter) etc. ... Wir können den Platz einfach nur jedem empfehlen :)

"Himmlische Idylle - Sehr schöner Platz, wo man wirklich entspannen kann, ohne sich über Sanitäranlagen oder sonst was aufzuregen.

"äußerst empfehlenswerter CP in extrem ruhiger und idyllischer Lage - sehr empfehlenswerter, idyllisch und extrem ruhig gelegener CP in herrlicher Lage mit schönem Ausblick; nachts kein Hundegebell was ja in Rumänien etwas besonderes ist; die holländischen jungen Betreiber sind sehr nett und hilfsbereit und sprechen perfekt englisch; die 2 Bauernhäuser und der ehemalige Stall, jetzt entkernt und daraus ein Sanitärgebäude und ein Apartment mit Küche gebaut, sind alle weit über 60 Jahre alt; die Umgestaltung ist perfekt und die Atmosphäre auch; sehr liebevoll ist auch der Platz angelegt z. B. mehrere Sitzmöglichkeiten mit Sonnenschirme und Kräutergarten zum Selbstbedienen; sonntags lädt die Nachbarin des CPs auf ihren Bauernhof, ca. 500 Meter entfernt, zum Abendessen ein; für einen kleinen Preis gibt es Schnaps, Wein, Wasser, Vorspeisenplatte, Suppe, Hauptgericht und Nachspeise; es war das beste Essen in den 2 Wochen Rumänienaufenthalt; zusätzlich waren die Gastgeber äußert freundlich; der Zufahrtsweg zum CP ist auf den letzten ca. 500 Metern wirklich eng und hat einen ziemlich groben Schotter als Untergrund; mit mehr als einen Kastenwagen unter 6 Meter würde ich ihn nicht fahren wollen; hat man das Ziel erreicht zeigt sich ein Naturparadies und die totale Ruhe und Entspannung ergibt sich dann von selbst; auch die anderen Gäste sind hier auffallend nett im Umgang miteinander; der Haus- und Hofhund ist extrem gutmütig und für ein paar Streicheleinheiten sehr dankbar; im Juni perfektes Campingwetter - untertags sommerlich warm und nachts schön kühl zum schlafen; es gibt nur einen Nachteil auf diesem CP Chemietoiletten dürfen nur mit dem grünen, biologisch abbaubaren Mittel, ausgelehrt werden (also nicht mit dem blauen);

Perfil

In the garden behind our house we have around 6000 square metres available for tents, campers and caravans. We have 18 electricity points, each of 6 ampere. You can choose where you want to pitch your tent or place your …caravan. You can also make use of our hammocks to sit back and relax or make a fire at one of the fire places! The bathrooms -separated for men and women– are located in the old barn, which we renovated from the inside. Besides bathrooms there is a common room which can be used when the weather is not that good. Close to our house you can make connection with internet through wi-fi. A lot of activities and tailored tours can be done from the campsite. If you have any others wishes, things you want to do or questions, please let us know and we will work it out! Please pay attention to our access road: The last 900 metres through the village are on an unpaved road, which means the road is covered with gravel and small stones. For cars, this is no problem, we drive here every day. Small campers and caravans also can reach our campsite, although we advise you to slow down your speed to a minimum. After all, it are only 900 metres. Unfortunately the road is not suited for caravans larger than 5 metres and campers larger than 6 metres. Indicaciones

By car coming from the direction of… …Sighetu Marmației: follow road nr. DN 18 in the direction of Baia Mare untill the junction just after the village of Berbești. Take the 109F (direction Cavnic), and 2 kilometres after you have …left Ocna Șugatag, you will see Breb on the right down in the valley. A small sign with ‘Breb’ indicates where you can descend into the valley and enter Breb. …Bârsana: take road nr. 185 in the village of Bârsana (direction Cavnic). At the junction in Călinești, go left, again in the direction of Cavnic. Drive through Sârbi and in Budești, untill you can turn right towards Ocna Șugatag. Take this road and after 2 kilometres you will find a road on your left that will lead you to Breb. …Baia Mare: there are more options from Baia Mare. The fastest is to take the road nr. 184 in Baia Sprie towards Cavnic. Follow this road through Cavnic, pass the ski slopes and in Budești take the road to the left in the direction of Ocna Șugatag. After 2 kilometres you will find Breb on your left down in the valley. Another option from Baia Mare is following the road DN 18 to Sighetu Marmației, through the forest and over the Gutâi Pass. At the village of Hărniceşti turn right at the sign that indicates Ocna Șugatag (road 185). Follow the road untill the next signs where you will have to go right in the direction of Cavnic. After one kilometre you can see Breb on the right in the valley. …Cluj-Napoca: take the 1C to Baia Mare and in the village of Gâlgău turn right towards Târgu Lăpuş. From Târgu Lăpuş take the 109F to Cavnic. Pass the ski slopes and in Budești take the road to the left in the direction of Ocna Șugatag. After 2 kilometres you will find Breb on your left down in the valley. Public transport The nearest train stations are Sighetu Marmației (Sighet) and Baia Mare. From Sighet there are (mini)buses going to Breb (45 minutes). The minibus will probably not go down in the valley, so like the locals, you will have to walk down to the village itself. But you can also give us a call and we will take you with the car (when our car is in the village). From Baia Mare and Cluj there are several buses going to Sighet. Get off in Hărniceşti or at the end of Giuleşti and hitch a ride to Breb. For a small charge (7 euro) we can pick you up in Hărniceşti. We can also come to the train station of Sighet (15 euro) and Baia Mare (30 euro) to pick you up if you will let us know a bit in advance. We can pick up a maximum of 3 persons. If you want transport from another place, please let us know and we’ll see what the possibilities are!
